CIREP ties partnership with the city of Troia for Afro Italian Mobility

CIREP and its African network has entered into an Afro Italian International Exchange partnership under the theme “Initiating the psychiatric service and Bridging Cultures, Communities and linking academic research with clinical practice”

The partneship aims to create meaningful psychiatric service and cultural engagement through rural immersion, community interaction, cultural exchange and schools involvement. Inspired by the partneship of City of troia, the “Tutti in Volo – Onlus” association and Anteo Social cooperative; “Sportiva...Mente-l'utopia possibile”, the initiative by CIREP promotes values-based global community education rooted in psychiatric service, intercultural understanding and afro Italian social and human interactions.

Proposed to take place under the coordination of CIREP in Africa and under City of troia, the “Tutti in Volo – Onlus” association and Anteo Social cooperative the partneship consists of 3 phases:

A setup of psychiatric service: capacity building of community and schools psychiatric service practices professional, best practices sharing and technology transfer
An International Cultural Exchange: Italian language teaching for Italian library exploitation and professionals Interaction Programme
Community and Rural Immersion Programme; Italian kitchen and African kitchen, storytelling, traditional practices: museum, religion, cultural day within the schools where Parents, Students and Local Leaders will be involved

Through this initiative, CIREP comes to strengthen long-term international partnership with City of troia, the “Tutti in Volo – Onlus” association and Anteo Social cooperative with its network made of communes, District and Schools in Italy.
